Purchasing Terms and Conditions

We currently accept Purchase Orders from companies who have applied and been accepted for a Corporate Terms Account. Optical Cables and Components will not grant terms above "net 30" but will offer a 2% discount if payment is received in full within 10 days. All invoices must be paid within 30 days of the date issued. Interest may be charged on amounts and balance due past the term of sale. The rate charged will be 1% per month or each 30 days past the due date, until the date payment is made in full. Any claims regarding an invoice must be made within 7 days of the date issued.

These terms and conditions constitute a binding contract between the customer and seller and are referred to herein as both "terms and conditions" or this "agreement". The customer accepts these terms and conditions by making a purchase from or placing an order with seller or requesting products or engaging seller to perform or procure any services. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice, except that the terms and conditions posted on the site at the time the customer places and order or sign a statement of work governing the order in question, unless otherwise agreed in writing by seller and customer.

Prices and Specifications

Due to the changing nature of the industry, prices, specifications, and availability of products is subject to change without notice.

Shipping and Taxes

Orders will be shipped as indicated at time of order. Shipping costs are not included in the purchase price unless otherwise stated. We offer a variety of shipping methods for you to choose from, which will be given at time of order. Taxes are not included in the purchase price. If you are a reseller, you will need to provide a Resale Certificate in order to be tax exempt.

Returned Products

Any returned items must be in new condition, including original box, packaging, manuals, and accessories. In the event supplies are considered defective and/or non-conforming by the customer, Optical Cables and Components must be notified within 30 days. A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. Once an RMA has been issued, the customer has 15 days to return the package. Once the product has been received, the customer will receive a revised invoice. Due to the inability to resell returned custom cables, Optical Cables and Components cannot accept returns on custom parts and cables.

Warranty

Optical Cables and Components provides lifetime guarantee against all defects and labor on all cables to the original distributor or purchaser. Please note that custom assemblies are non-returnable and non-cancelable. Warranties do not apply to damage from misuse or any consequential damages. Other non-cabling items will carry the manufacturer's warranty. We will repair or replace any assembly that fails under normal use. We are not responsible for cosmetic repairs and this warranty does not cover cosmetic repairs.

This warranty is null and void if:

The product was damaged by misuse
The product was improperly installed
The product was used in an improper way
The product was reconfigured or altered
Someone other than us attempted to repair the product already
The product has been tampered

The buyer must determine the suitability of the product for his intended use or application and the buyer assumes all risks and liabilities associated therewith. This warranty does not include labor for removal or installation of product.
